ROLE

SKILLS

SimplePractice is an all-in-one electronic health record (EHR) system used by more than 185,000 health and wellness practitioners.

As one of two Visual Designers on our creative team, I worked cross-functionally to solidify our brand presence and bring delight to customers through delivering unified visual assets distributed across various channels, maintaining and developing brand guidelines, and creating consistent imagery and illustrations used across our product and website.

Below are some of the projects I’ve worked on, and please feel free to reach out to me for more information.

Background

EBOOK

I designed an ebook on deciphering Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes, which allow practitioners to report services and bill insurance. I used data visualization to demonstrate trends in a clear and digestible format to inform users of current trends and best practices.

BRAND STYLE GUIDE

I organized and consolidated our design system and created an interactive design style guide to maintain brand consistency, streamline the design onboarding process, and help the organization scale. The guide became a living reference for all current and prospective employees to familiarize with our brand.

PRINT MAGAZINE

I created editorial illustrations for Pollen Magazine, our biannual publication that allows practitioners to share stories, advice, and inspiration in a unique, offline way.

The magazine was distributed to our community members, contributing writers, and their respective networks. We continue to promote the magazine through social media and lifecycle campaigns, and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our readers, including the following from the author of an article I illustrated for:

“I wanted to let you know that I received my copies on Friday and Pollen Magazine is stunning! I spent an hour admiring all the art and layout designs you all used. It’s so beautiful! Thank you again for sending me these copies. Over the weekend, I had several colleagues and loved ones ask if this edition is available online and/or if this edition is available for purchase. If so, I’d love to be able to pass that information along to them.”

CONFERENCE BROCHURE

I designed a brochure that serves as the face of our product at key conferences. I strategically aligned the design with our brand messaging and key pillars in order to highlight important information to our potential customers.

ON-SITE BROCHURE

For our first marketing team on-site in LA, I created a brochure to welcome my teammates to LA, as many were from all over the country and some have never been to LA before. The brochure was given to each attendee, bringing an element of delight to start off our on-site.
